Their lifecycle is a series of several notorious transformations; from an egg to caterpillar, caterpillar to chrysalis, and then chrysalis to butterfly. Butterflies represent transformation, joy, and an ability to experience the wonder of life.

A  butterfly typically only lives for a few weeks or months, reminding us that life is precious and change is inevitable.
