Fossilized leaves or leaf skeletons remind us of a tree's fingerprint. Leaves are collected and soaked in water with a touch of bleach for about a month. The surface is delicately brushed with a toothbrush to expose the leaf vasculature. The remaining 'skeletons' are pressed and dried. 

These fossilized leafs were painted with a glittery metallic and then embedded into layers of resin in a black earring base. The effect is both elegant and unique.
